Paris adventures

Sunday was our day to do some little shopping at the local market,  We picked up some food for our apartment. It was a day of trying to stay awake so the local market was the best way to stay awake.  We found cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit and a few treasures.  We did manage to stay awake AND have fun.

We did go for a walk and get into Notre Dame.  The stain glass was terrific.  We had a wonderful dinner at our apartment and then to bed.  Great sleep.
Diana has a highschool exchange student/friend that lives in Germany.  She flew down to spend the day with us,  We meet her at the Louvre.  We have Grayline hope on-hope off tour tickets so that was the way we were able to get around the city.
Aren't we a grest looking group.
This is a picture of us at the second level of the Eiffel Tower.  We were so 'crafty'  We didn't wait in the LONG line.  Instead we decided to have lunch at the 2nd level which included (for a slight fee and a kind of pricey lunch) the ride to the first level where the resturaunt is located and after lunch we walked up to the next level.  It was a long walk that made me stop several times to rest but the view was terrific.

Tonight we had dinner at a streat side cafe and are home for bedtime.  I hope you are having fun too.  The natives have been VERY friendly.  We are having a wonderful time.  As Bud would say, "It does't get any better than this."
